Huricanne Hat

No ho he pogut evitar i com els mitjons que estic fent no m'apassionen i estava una mica desmotivada, he començat el HuricanneHat (vaig trobar el patró a Raverly). Quan vaig començar em pensava que la llana era massa prima (llana Merino Alpaca, Agulles del 4.5) i que no es veuria la tira que va girant, però si que es veu! 


I couldn't avoid it and as I wasn't very motivated with the socks I was doing, I started the Hurricanne Hat (I found the pattern in Raverly). When I started I thought that the yarn would be too thin for those needles (yarn Merino Alpaca, 4.5 DPN) an that the stitch that goes around the hat would not be seen, but you can see it! 

Mitjons

He començat un nou parell de mitjons, aquesta vegada normals (no tindran els dits separats). La llana no es la més maca, pero es una que vaig comprar abans de fer la comanda per internet i la volia aprofitar. Les fotos son de diferents dies :-)
I have began a new pair of socks, this time normal ones (they will not have the toes separated). The yarn is not the nicest one, but I bought that one before buying more on the internet and as I was looking for a soft one, I didn't have much choice on the colors. I'm using double 2.5mm  pointed needles, which makes the knitting of the socks a little bit longer than the previous ones...

Comprar llana per Internet

Acabo de rebre la meva primera comanda de llana per internet. Vaig estar mirant quina era la millor llana per fer mitjons (busco una llana prima i agradable, de manera a poder fer servir els mitjons que vaig que sino son molt gruixuts!). Vaig llegir que Koigu i Lorna's Laces eren els millors i vaig fer la comanda a www.laine-et-tricot.com. El paquet em va arribar molt ràpid! Una llàstima que la llana Lorna es més verda que grisa...
I just received my first yarn order over internet. I was reading was the best yarn was for socks (I'm looking for something thin and comfortable to wear everyday). I read that Koigu and Lorna's Laces where the best and I did order some on www.laine-et-tricot.com. The order came very quick! Just a pity that the Lorna's Laces where more green than what I expected...

Gorro de gall...

Des de que he descobert Ravelry, no paro de descarregar-me patrons i idees, molt més ràpid del que puc fer! Un dels primers que em vaig descarregar es un patró per fer un gorro en forma de animal, un gall! Es tamany bebè i encara l'he de provar per veure si va bé i com queda posat!


Since I discovered Ravelry, I cannot stop to download patterns and ideas, much more quicker than what I can knit! One of the firsts that I downloaded was this chicken hat. It is sized for babys and I still have to try it to see how it looks when a baby has it on! 

Segon projecte: Pijama

Segon projecte de Weekend Sewing: un pijama. He introduït alguns canvis respecte al patró del llibre, vaig fer uns shorts en lloc de uns pantalons llargs i vaig posar una cinta al davant del pantaló. No em va sortir perfecte, ja que la cinta no dona la volta, sinó que hi ha un elàstic. La cinta esta cosida al "dobladillo" i ho vaig cosir al costat equivocat. Però no es veu gaire :-)

La tela i la cinta (de la Caputxeta Vermella) les vaig comprar de Lotti's Welt. 

Here my second project of the Weekend Sewing book: a pijama. I introduced some changes to the pattern of the books, I did some shorts instead of a long pants and I put a ribbon on the front. It's not perfect, as I put the ribbon on the wrong side of the casing, and as the ribbon doesn't go around the waist (there is an elastic for that), you can see (just a little bit :-) ) the stitches through the buttonholes.  The fabric and the ribbon (the Little Red Riding Hood) are from Lotti's Welt. 

Mitjons japonesos

Aquest  són els meus primers mitjons fets a mà. Els vaig fer fa ja uns mesos. Vaig trobar aquest tutorial (super ben explicat, el recomano a tothom!!)  i tot i que mai no havia fer mitja amb agulles de doble punta, desprès de començar unes quantes vegades i de algunes visites a http://www.knittighelp.com/ (també recomano molt aquesta pàgina!), me'n vaig ensortir prou bé. 

Those are the firsts socks that I have knitted. I did them some months ago. I found this tutorial (great explanations!!) and even though I never knitted using double pointed needles before, I was able to get to a quite good results (after starting several times and a lots of visits to http://www.knittinghelp.com/ . That also showed me that I can do some self learning on knitting!

El meu primer post

Per fi el meu primer post en el meu nou blog. I potser no estaria mal explicar de què va, més que res perquè tampoc sé gaire com començar... A més, estic tant acostumada a escriure en anglés que em costa escriure en català!
Ja fa temps que cuso i faig mitja, però fins fa uns mesos no havia descobert les possibilitats i recursos que es poden trobar a Internet i nomes sabia fer bufandes i bolsos senzills. Però ara que sé tot el que es pot trobar, he començat a intentar coses noves i és casi una obsessió! Així que precisament aixo penjaré al meu blog, el meus projectes, comentant on he trobat dificultats i on trobo bons consells. No crec que sigui res de molt nou, però si més pararé de enviar constantment fotos de tot el que cuso a la meva família i amics.
 
Hi, finally my new post in my new blog.  Maybe I should explain what this is about... because I don't know how to start anyway.
I've been sewing and knitting for some time, but until some months ago I haven't discovered the amazing possibilities that Internet gives you. So now I'm almost becoming addict on trying new stuff! And that is what this blog is going to be about, about my projects and crafts and about the difficulties I had and where I found good tips. I don't think that is anything very new, but at least I will stop to send constantly pictures of my crafts to my family! I will also try to post in English as quite a lot of people I know don't speak catalan ...
